Who has a 3 hour loop starting in Pleasanton

The Mines Rd/Junction/Mt Hamilton/Calaveras loop, Palomares to Redwood Road to Grizzly Peak to Wildcat Canyon and back, or Mt. Diablo/Morgan Territory (goaty), you call it.

Those are most of the good loops. The Mines loop will take four hours, not three. That's my favorite route for that loop. It's been years since I could do that one on those roads because Calaveras was closed until after I left.

I would recommend this minor change in Castro Valley for the Redwood Road ride, taking Crow Canyon and Heyer: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Ple...7e1ea7d16!2m2!1d-121.8757968!2d37.6604484!3e0

Here's another idea, but it doesn't end in Pleasanton. Pick the road you liked best to head back: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Ple...0x808fe1b9c4294309:0x601092e1ab235300!1m0!3e0

That looks promising as well. It’s been a while since I’ve owned a bike and 3 weeks ago I picked up a 2015 BMW R1200Rt. Just my luck that 3 days later it started raining and hasn’t let up. This weekend promises to be a dry one

Recedite, plebes!
Personally, I'd do Mines over the other two Scott listed.
Every ridden Mines? Since you mentioned it's been a while since you were on a moto all these roads will be damp to wet and can have a fair amount of loose, slippery stuff on them from all the rain. So, set your pace accordingly. Mines up to the Junction from Livermore will be about ~45mins at a nice pace. Once there you can chill for a bit then head out San Antonio Valley for another nice stretch, then turn around before it starts up to Hammy. So, depending on stops and Kodak moments, etc., that should put you back home within your "window".
Where ever ya go... shiny side up and enjoy.

It’s supposed to be dry Saturday and Sunday so hopefully the roads will dry up a bit by Sunday morning when I go. Good advice not to push it in any case.
