what it will be used for.

home use, Three people using wifi cell phones, pretty much all the time,
two laptops
smart TV,
XBOX, PS3 Wii

Some Gaming,
Lots of Netflix and Amazon Prime

R7000 since release, no issues. Also letting my neighbors use the guest network I set up. at peak times I've seen almost a dozen people connected with no issues. ISP is Comcast with blast

The design of the net gear X6 looks like it was inspired by the SR-22! :laughing

# of antennas is now the wifi equivalent of sheet threadcount, or mattress coil count. Something to count because more = better.

I picked up a refurbished Asus RTN66R from Newegg for $80 a few months ago. Coverage is great and throughput is excellent. Far superior to the Buffalo Airstation I had been running.
