Car shows. Bike shows. You'll see better, more creative, and more authentic American hot rods and choppers than at any car show here. It helps that they have 11.5 months of winter.

Park the bike and enjoy the social scene instead. ;)

Scandinavian chicks, of course.

I did you a favor and checked Backpages.com, Stockholm, Sweden, escorts. I can't post it here, but It is an eye opener for sure. Check it out, if that is your thing.

Denmark is as flat as a pancake, so you need to find very small country roads to get something that gets close to a "twisty." Norway is full of mountains and fjords, so anything other than the big roads will be twisty. Sweden is in between.

American muscle cars seem to be popular with Swedish teenagers/young adults in particular.

Try not to frame your trip expenditures in bike terms.
For example, do not think 'that beer was a full tank of gas', nor 'dinner for three is... half a used multistrada?'. Doing so will not make you happy.

I've ridden in Norway/Sweden and Denmark (10yrs ago now, so YRMV), Norway was the best riding, the whole west coast is filled with twisty coastal roads around the fjords, HOWEVER speed limits are ridiculously low for much of it and its enforced enthusiastically. Being a foreigner makes not difference and large fines had to be paid on the spot !.

Lots of car shows during the summer and a healthy custom bike scene.

Weather is changeable at best, and the road surfaces eat tires. Oh its also crazy expensive to eat drink, stay or buy. Free to look at though....

Sweden was like Norway lite, same stuff but not as extreme. I did like Denmark though, the locals were friendlier and Copenhagen is a beautiful city.

All in all, not the best bike holiday I've had, but was worth a visit.

Right, I've been here so long that I forgot already. Try not to translate prices to dollars.

Good time of the year to visit, long days with mild weather. I've only been to Stockholm but loved it, great place to visit. See the Vasa if you have time, pretty amazing.

Food is fabulous, lots of castles to see, countryside beautiful. Oh, and the blondes :thumbup
