What does riding mean to you?

Even while I'm in the midst of a divorce with custody issues, I take comfort that my moto never fails to start when I need her. <3

Says the guy with lithium batteries in his Fleshlight - just dress that puckered light saber up with some racing stripes and a Ducati badge then counter-steer the hell out of it. Ten gets you twenty the divorce thing goes away and you'll never have to worry about tread wear again. :twofinger

Means I still have some smiles left in this world that belong to me, myself and my machine.

It means I get to forget about all the shitty things in life, gives me that freedom that I have only been able to find when on a bike. But the biggest thing for me is just for awhile, It means am not the guy in a wheelchair.

Jesse.

That is more powerful than likely anyone else can share.
Mine is an age thing. Yours an amazingly strong life thing.

The moto is an amazing machine in so many ways.

Riding for me is freedom, the feeling you get when everything just works. That perfect set of twisties. It is also meeting good people who also love to ride.

Jesse I am glad I have been able to ride with you and enjoy your company at lunch. Hope to do it again next year.

Began as a way of getting to work in half the time while saving money and (sometimes) having fun :) Now it is so much more. Mechanical skill, self-reliance, craftsmanship, dedication, courage, practice.

Motorcycling has been in my blood for as long as I can remember. My Dad started riding in 1930 and was a full-on enthusiast. I started in 1961 and have been riding ever since.

I'm most at home on my FJR over any other vehicle. I do take my pickup when I need it but the Feej is where it's at.

It's all good.

To me it means I spend the least amount of time doing what everyone else is doing for their commute... sitting there wasting time and fuel. Life long rider.. caught the bug as a teen and it's been with me ever since... tho' lately, my riding is 99.9% all commuting. I'm also most at home on my FJR and my wife wonders why I get so bent when we're sitting in traffic in the car... LOL!
