What do you do if you get stopped like this?

Uh, at a stop you should definitely be paying attention to surroundings. I would have ridden off he second I saw this idiot get out of his vehicle with something in his hand.

Rider handled really well given the circumstance - but what lead up to that?

What part of the world did that happen in?

I would have done exactly what the rider did, then contact a lawyer with the footage, and hope he gets retired early.

While we didn't see what proceeded the encounter, I would assume by the riders demeanor it did not warrant being held at gun point.

Being he has a gun drawn and pointed at you.
He doesn't have the gun drawn and point at the ground it's pointed at you.
Do whatever he says to do.

I would complain later that he did not identify himself as a police office.

But at that moment the most important thing is to not die. You can argue later.

Wow just wonder like everyone else what lead up to this and was pulling the gun even necessary.
He didn't even identify himself.

Riddle me this.
"What I’m going to do with that video, is I'm going to show it to every single new recruit that comes into the sheriff's office, and I have 70 or 80 a year. I want them to know specifically what they're not allowed to do."

That about sums it up.

Me as well. If I noticed him get out of the vehicle, I would have been out of there.

hmmmm. the more video that gets recorded the more shit that gets exposed.

Yes, the world will slowly learn that which every black man knows from an early age: literally every cop in America is a raging asshole.

But again....what led up to that event? Although way out of line, police dude seems to be "responding" to something the biker did previously. Is there a full version of the vid out there or did the biker pick and choose what HE wanted the public to see?:wtf

Ever been honked at, chased, swerved at, or flipped off by some raging cager? In those instances, had you done something to provoke them? Or were they just taking out their anger on you? Fat middle-aged idiots trapped in shitty used cars in miles-long traffic jams are not soberly evaluating their own terrible life decisions. They are just looking for someone else to blame.

No idea what I would've done honestly. Dude with the gun doesn't say shit about being a cop, but it's pretty clear from his fashion sense he is. Do we know of the cop came out of that black car? 'Cuz it looks like it was an unmarked car too. I can easily imagine being spooked enough that I might just accidentally drop the bike. Which, if you're a brown person, could easily turn into "he tried to run so I shot him."

It looks like no one stuck around to see what was going on. I can't believe someone can just stroll down the street with their handgun out & then walk up to & harass someone.

When ever I come to a stop, I am always looking in the rear view for shit like this. When one rides like an asshat, it is important to observe the surroundings.

I too would have been outa there the second his door opened up.

If I had not noticed him until he was next to me with a gun drawn, I would have been outa there instantly... Fooks dat shit.

Scary. I'd like to see more footage, from before and after.

If this turns into a settlement, it'll be yet another one paid by tax payers. That irks me too.

Pretty clear that cop hasn't had any gun training. Who the fuck walks up to someone with a ranged weapon?

Biker is about to get paid. Did anyone notice how that cop put his body in the guns line of fire several times? Then he reaches into the guys pocket while holding the gun. Can't make this shit up.
