What are these wires? (07 ex250)

so i was poking around the gf's 250 last night, en route to installing a new headlight bulb. stumbled across a couple random loose wires near the headlight, in front of the steering head. one is 12v hot with the key off (white with black stripe), the other seems to be a ground (black with yellow stripe).

Likewise, there's a couple of wires with the same plugs (looks like a Y plug) tucked behind the fuse box, same markings as the first pair, but the white/black stripe here is only hot with the key on.

first two are the wires by the fuse box. third is the pair by the steering head. anyone have any idea what they are?

They are accessory wires. You found 'em both. Can be used for GPS or any other 12V accessory that doesn't require too much in the way of power. Kawi removed them on the new-gen 2008+ bikes, which is a shame as they can come in handy.

kinda cool. i was already thinking of ideas for them....she's like "just leave my bike alone". :laughing
