So after getting my "commuter" Triumph (Which is having electrical issues right now) I haven't been riding my 05' 636.

If was left outside covered and on a charger. I started her up a while back and took her for a spin around the neighborhood only to find that it wouldn't shift past 2nd gear.

It does run fine but is there an easy way to unstick the gearbox or do I need to pull the thing apart? Also, what parts can I expect to buy?

kthanksbye :teeth

Most likely, I'm just going to take it to RMC but I'd rather ride it there if possible. I just gave my brother my truck :/

Try riding her around in second gear for a while to get the transmission up to temp.

sticky clutch? 4-5 plates sticking not allowing a upshift? Try it on the stand w/engine no running & get back to us...

odd the trans would stick just from sitting.
Is the shifter clear of all obstacles? maybe it got bent?

If the clutch disengages enough not to drag in 1st at a stop, it shouldn't be the issue with upshifting.

get the back wheel off the ground and see if you can shift all gears by hand, rocking the wheel back and forth if needed. (no clutch)
