Hey everyone! Neato stuff for me, I get to be a moderator! Now I'll have to ask Steve exactly what I'm supposed to do. :laughing
Actually, yeah it keeps me busy, my list of upgrades and updates is rather long, so if I promised to do something on your behalf- bear with me- I'll get to it. Was up till 1am last night upgrading the Calaveras Road page with photos from Mike Leonard (Mcleonard) and Garrett (ysfsofast). And recently added some more pics on the Alpine Road wepage (one of my favorites!) by John (john_n). Keep in mind, everytime I do this, I provide a link back to BARF also, so the website also is credited. Currently looking for someone to help me build a Stage Road page (already have all the pics- just need a ride description). Also completed another page written by Jason (Wintermute) & Tyler on Sweetwater Springs Road (couple bugs to work out but page look great!).

By now a lot of you are used to me asking permission to use your photos on your rides, however, also keep in mind that I am game to use more text or comments about a particular ride from you also. I also recently put out an offer to create webpages about the motorcycles you ride. I've only gotten pics from one person- AllyCat, thus far, but several queries. This offer still stands to those of you still interested.

For those of you who are new to motorcycling, or just starting to venture forth on the bike- Sport Touring on a motorcycle is a whole 'nother world than just commuting, tooling around town, or day rides. There's something exciting and unique about 300 mile days, hell, even 500 mile days. Multi-day trips I've always likened to stepping into another world, somehow apart from normal society while riding the motorcycle. Nothing quite like it.

So do those rides, stay safe, wear your gear, and let's hear about those adventures! -Tim
