I'm going Drag racing anybody want to go? I pulled up some info to answer some questions but will be glad to answer any that I can. I also welcome the anti drag comments cause it just bumps the thread so bring it.

:teeth

You don't have to have a race bike I am thinking of running the Bad Dog Yammaha just for kicks. I'll have the big truck and tools with for ground support also.

Dogs best friend
The older guy on the stock Triumph Bonnie will go home with nearly all the trophies, regardless of what you run out there.
Dude is a machine, everyone else is racing for runner up.
It really is impressive. :thumbup

I always make it out a couple times a year to keep the skills sharp. There used to be an old guy (70's) on a blown Harley that was unbelievably consistent at about 8.9.

Guess I can't go because the busa runs quicker than 9.92 and no NHRA lisc for me...

They are way too strict on tech there. That coupled with waiting hours to make a pass with so-so traction makes me skip any Sonoma drag strip event. Sacramento is just a lot more fun. Bring your busa there.

Hhhmmmm....... Not with you on it. :rofl
If you do run too fast you have to shut it down at the 1/8th.
But for real if you got it out if the 11's I would be impressed. :) just to hard to control on the launch short.
