things i saw walking and driving around sf...

* car running red
* car stopping at green
* two cars going straight at a 'do not enter/muni only' intersection.
* one car going straight at a 'must turn left/right because the street is now one way the other way' intersection.
* cars turning left from the right lane/right from the left lane.
* car trying to run me over by turning right on red w/o looking.
* various peds/wheelchairs/bicycles doing the normal sf thing of ignoring both the traffic signals and the traffic around them.

none of these are novel, and many of them were uber drivers. but it's rare to see so many the same day. was it just me?

We never liked SF traffic. Your observation is how we also see it.

Big Rat Race on City streets. Can't see how people manage it everyday.

Heh Different story driving late night looking for fun and mischief. :party

I almost T-boned a car running the red yesterday in Hayward. I had a weird vibe about coming in on the night shift last night on my bike but I did it anyway. It all worked out.

Ergo it's not just SF traffic...it's Hayward drivers in SF perhaps? ;)

OK OK relax Hayward. Maybe it's South San Francisco drivers:D

Nah it's just you.

Traffic has actually been getting progressively worse in the City since the boom happened. It's getting to a boiling point where people willfully break traffic laws just to gtfo of it.

I drive the streets everyday as part of my job and I can tell you with certainty downtown is just a constant ongoing clusterfuck.

I usually hardly consider it "driving " in San Francisco any more. It's just mind numbing motion gas brake gas brake coast some brake gas coast. Barely even turning a wheel sometimes and it's always 90deg turn from a stop anyway. Don't know why we even have different cars anymore, should be all slow driving semi automatic electro boxes or something.

Sounds like one of them commie train things Americans are allergic to.
