Warehouse Work - Associates needed: South San Francisco
Hey all!
Been working here for the past few months and I figured its an easy way to help out my fellow barfers (which I may or may not have had interactions with in the past)

Can answer any questions about the position (depending on the department).
- Outbound: where I am(!) apparently the new training policy will either throw you in the QC (quality control) or picking (retrieving the five items; accessories or not, pants, top, jacket etc) in order to see how you deal with one facet of the warehouse culture or not. {fyi: you have to be good at one position in this warehouse, you can't be bad in both, otherwise...well, SSF has an array of opportunities}
- Returns: you deal with the clothes/items that come back, I've done labo(u)r share with them like 5 times, but sadly those days are done (since they have enough people coming back to fill the void that their fellow employees have left :rip). there are sections to hang the items (that return in the us post office bag, it is inspected and placed back to be re-binned) critical eyes help, if anything the supervisors/leads can help you with q's since they work directly on the floor with the people.
- Recieving: what comes in to the warehouse (shipments of up to 300 units or more) prepping the items, tagging them and putting them out on the floor. they just lost like 5 people to mens (which I will get into) and they handle business, like no other (for the most part ).
- Mens: the newest addition to the company. still in its infancy, but they're staff is somewhat small (only 6 founding members from all the aforementioned depts and others)
- Stylist: sort of on the low end of the spectrum (read: only part time) but they look through the pintrest boards of the clients/bloggers/employees and figure out the best style for him or her. Don't take it personal if the client bemoans "my stylist never understood my look or fashion taste at all ! S-M-H" boot camps come through my warehouse and the HQ (i think) so you can see differing exhibitions at work. Apply: https://www.stitchfix.com/careers/styling
The opportunities allow you to transition skills to other jobs as well, and if you're thinking of going to the other locales, there are warehouses in Phoenix, AZ, Bethleham, PA, Indiana, and Dallas, TX.
