i was planning to exercise my tires this Sunday. PeterR1 indicated he was hip. My bud Rob with an R6 is think is game. Budman is probably willing.

I was thinking hook up with Rob in SJ at 9ish, head up to Alice's if Budman wants to meet at 10. This is all tentative...

(or maybe the gas station at Big Basin Wy/ Saratoga/ S'vale Saratoga Rd; is that a 76? I thought it was green, BP?)

will be wet

Just a warning, it's supposed to rain on Saturday, which means Sunday will probably be wet :cry
I'd love to ride on Sunday... I would suggest the 76 gas station at the bottom of HWY 9 in Saratoga. I STRONGLY suggest no earlier than 10AM (mabye 11AM), all of us that went out last sunday still have nightmares about Skyline (all the water and fog)... I'd like to avoid that if possible (my GP tires don't like water very much):gmonie

10 at 76 works for me. I should clear it with the wife. We should touch bases in the morning before heading out.

great ride in the hills!

Sorry to hear about Squid Day... not to rub it in but I thought I'd share my day instead.
So I got to Alices by 11AM and waited there for about 20 minutes, it was a good turnout and it looked like KTVU Channel 2 was doing a story on bikers.
As I was getting ready to leave (since no one from BARF showed up) NinthYaga found me! If anyone doesn't know he is one of the newest members (both to BARF and to riding in general). So we chatted for a bit and took off down 84. What a great ride. The weather was perfect... not TOO many cagers. We made it to the little town half way down and backtracked to Alices. Next we went across Skyline and turned right at the Four Corners. HWY 9 was awesome... we made a lunch break at Fosters Freeze and made our way back up HWY 9. I only saw one Cop and he was busy writing a ticket to a group of riders (looked like one of the crashed) which was lucky for me because I WASN'T going the speed limit.
Anyway the day ended with us going down HWY 9 to Saratoga... perfect weather, perfect rode.... missed all you guys.

Don't forget about Mines Rd next Sunday!
