Vintage 80s Toys -- Keep or Sell?

After about six months of searching I finally found my old Star Wars figures in my parent's garage. I really planned on selling them on eBay, but now I'm not sure. Right now, I don't need the money, and surprisingly they don't take up much space.

I'm pretty lucky to still have them, I thought my parent's or I may have sold them at a flea market.

I know many BARFERs are in their 20-30s, did you keep, sell or somehow lose track of your action figures?

Another thing to consider -- do girls' toys of the same time period carry the same demand as the boys stuff?

Unless you have an emotional attachment to them, sell them. With SW fever about to grip the nation and world for that matter, prices for SW collectables will be inflated. After the premier and the hoopla, the prices will drop back to whatever normal is.

Darth looks likes he's brandishing a semi-infalted animal balloons. DARTH CLOWN!!!!

sell ....sell....sell.....!!!

especially the Darth Vader/Imperial Guard/Palpatine cuz people like the different generations of the SW toys past to present....

I got a few SW figures that are worth $25-60 and theyre only a year to few years old....

Target released their exlusive stuff for $12 and its on Ebay for $56-80 only in 2 weeks....

Ive been selling off my old stuff left and right to the new generation of fans.....

If you don't want them or don't plan on leaving them for your kids (if you have kids at this time:teeth) to play with then sell now. Toys like this are selling for up 10 times the original selling cost. My son wanted Optimus Prime for Xmas and I found a re-release brand new on ebay for $80. I’m thankful he only likes the SW light sabers which are less the $20 at Toys “R” Us. :teeth

Like others have said, if you want top dollar sell now. Otherwise you might as well keep it for sentimental value.
