Valley Fire Relief

Drop-in
If you’ve ridden in the mountains above Napa, you’ve probably stopped in Middletown. It’s a moto-friendly town. So far, the fires there have left the main street pretty much intact, but many of the residential blocks are gone. Cobb, too, is gone. Completely burned out.

If you want to help, sending money is generally better than things. With money, each person’s thing needs can be met most efficiently. Send money here:

Redwood Credit Union:
Make checks payable to RCU Lake County Fire Victims. Drop off checks at any North Bay or San Francisco branch, snailmail to Redwood Credit Union, P.O. Box 6104, Santa Rosa, CA 95406, or donate online at www.redwoodcu.org/lakecountyfirevictims.

Tri Counties Bank:
The branches in Lake and Napa counties have made an initial donation of $10,000. Make a PayPal donation at http://www.tcbk.com.

American Red Cross:
Make your donations online at http://www.redcross.org/local/or/ways-to-donate/wildfires. The money will be distributed throughout the West, not to Middletown and Cobb alone.

As someone who recently lost their home, and bikes etc due to this horrendous fire, and seeing so many people homeless at the camps I know the money will definitely be used for good causes. Especially for those who didn't have insurance. Every donation means a lot to our community. No matter how big or small.
