TWF racing's speed bump
As the title implies...
This past weekend Zoran from TWF racing along with Dan Sewell, also from TWF racing, joined forces with Catching Competition at Miller Motorsports Park for the WERA 6 hour endurance race. The team rode a PRODUCTION legal 2006 SV650 that came from a salvage yard auction no less than 3 weeks ago. The bike is complete with a slip-on Leo Vince muffler & bug infested stock air filter with 9,480 street miles. The team used a GSXR rear wheel conversion from TWF racing, not production legal,to mount up a killer set of Pirelli Pro slicks in 180 rear & 120 front. The bike was powered by some killer 91 octane fuel dispensed from the pump at a Sinclair gas station down the street & ridden to a victory in the lightweight division. All three riders were able to run consistent lap times & pit stops were performed flawlessly to allow for this victory. The win came on ONE SET of tires for the entire race! Proof positive that if you aren't running Pirelli tires you should be. The competition changed rear tires TWICE trying to keep up!
Catching Competition would again like to thank TWF racing for the opportunity to defend the tittle & the killer suspension, Zoran is THE SV man! Thank you to Dan Sewell for the transportation & killer sleeping accomidations. And finally a HUGE thank you to Chris from CT Racing for the kick ass Pirelli tires, without those tires none of this would have been possible. 2:10 lap times on 3 hour plus old tires is no joke! :thumbup
