Hola
Okay, this might be good for a laugh at the least....but, I've always heard about 'Task Force Tuesdays & Thursdays' - the idea that most raids happen on either a Tuesday or a Thursday.
So, being a little curious and bored - I started to look into the local archives and sure enough - out of the first 4 articles of warrants being served, all were on Tuesdays and Thursdays. :laughing So, can anybody shed a little insight into this?
I couldn't help but to theorize - and here's where you might get the good laugh, maybe not - most (drug) cases probably begin on weekends: Friday & Saturday - Sunday to investigate/write affidavit - Monday morning to the judge, get warrant signed - plan raid Mon. evening - hit Tuesday morning ?? Then, 'turn' the perp who you hit Tuesday, write affidavit for new target that night, go to judge Wednesday using Tuesdays gathered intel - hit next guy up the chain on Thursday?
Now, of course every case and situation is different - but, is the presented scenario a feasible/believable basis for this 'myth'? Is it a myth? Thanks.
