Trip to Alaska (arctic circle)

So....I am planning a trip to the artic circle Alaska in June and I have some questions for those that have done it. I am planning on taking a month to get up there and back. I just purchased R1200GS Adaventure for the ride. I am planning on riding solo (unless someone wants ride with me).

Is June the best month to ride up there?
Best route there and back?
Areas to see?
What is a must to take.

Any other advise would be welcomed.
