This whole thing happened at 6:15pm tonight. In broad daylight even!!!!!!! He was just about to cut the lock with some big bolt cutters. There are marks on the lock. I was pretty aggressive when I screamed at him. I definitely scared the shit out of him. One of my friends told me I could have been shot had he been carrying a gun. The funny thing was I felt absolutely zero fear about confronting him. Adrenaline is funny stuff.

he was advised not to post them for legal reasons he said he would repost them as soon as the police give the thumbs up.

its good he left marks on the chain/lock gives even more evidence that he was actually trying to break in.
a lawyer could say that the guy found some bolt cutter near the trailer and was picking them up and when you came out he got scared and left, but with the marks on the chain that story it OUT!

Update:

I just got a call from the Petaluma PD.

The Sonoma County Sheriffs just arrested the guy. He had apparently been a one man crime wave in town here today, thinking because it's Easter nobody would be around. There were several incidents that they think he was responsible for. The detective said he was driving up there now to match the pictures I took to the perp. He was apparently on parole also.

Score one for the little guy.
