Total BARF Miles?

I'm constantly amazed by the collective knowledge on BARF, much of it from experienced riders :afm199

And I know some of the younger people here have ridden more miles than most people would drive in a lifetime, so I can't help but wonder:

How many miles have the members of BARF ridden collectively ?

Does anyone know how many members we are and have an idea of how many miles the average rider has put on their bikes?

I don't actually keep track, but I'm somewhere around 200,000 total. I still seem to be stuck around 5000 per year evenly distributed between my two bikes. Next year I'm hoping to do a lot more riding. But right now the bikes mostly sit, since it was 11 degrees this morning warming up to maybe 30 this afternoon. :(

Make another thread, the first person may only post a single number of miles they've ridden, and the following person must add their number to the miles. Simple addition. This thread can be the commentary on it.

Ok, so my guess is 1 billion (1.000.000.000) miles.
I figured 20.000 members - might be low but hang with me.
An age span of 21 - 91 ( I know that some of you behave like you are five, but this is not the place that discussion)
On average 35 years of riding.
Some of you will ride 25.000 miles per year (I do 10.000), and some barely get the bike warm during summer weekends, so I estimate 1.500 miles per year on average.
20.000 members with 50.000 miles under the belt, I think 1 billion miles is a significant amount of experience, inspiration and love of riding.

Thank you all :ride

Why does it have to be miles ? Why do you hate the kilometers :x

I actually love the kilometers - but then again, I speak foreign and like the 10x 100x 1000x 100.000x etc conversions.
But I don't want to seem out of place ...

Now if you can just get the people on that other thread to actually ADD the numbers as they go. :rolleyes

Are we having fun yet?

The other thread shows how many can't be bothered to read and follow the simplest rule. :facepalm
