anyone have an online source for these? or even an extra pair ya wanna' sell me? I'm going to try to add these onto a pair of Sidi's that originally did not come with them. these are their street low tops - not quite a race boot but close and more so than the alpinestars SF boots.

here's the Alpinestars I want to try - rear entry so hopefully can get my feet in :eek LOL. I had an old pair of vented race boots from them with like a 3/4 entry and these were the only ones I could put on and fit well with my ankle brace. stupid me sold them when I thought I was done with motorcycles :( they don't make them anymore so must find new.

Haven't you learned not to set yourself up like that yet?? :laughing :laughing

Those are sweet, though. My AS SMX boots are falling apart. Second pair and the threads are separating. I think I'll get the Vertebrae next... anyone want a pair size 43 boots, cheap??

Oh, and regarding toe sliders, just move your feet back on the pegs and keep 'em off the deck. :D

I have these. I use them for commuting and regular around town riding. They are surprisingly comfortable for walking around as well.

I never saw the Alpinestar ones. Although the con about not having the hard toe would kinda suck. I like both the heel and the toe on the SIDI boot. Of course, I'd also like the extra ankle protection but then again, I'm fine without the toe sliders on a commuting shoe. :)
