TIL- to not hang my helmet from handlebars!

My good friend EDZX6 was riding my bike today when he went for his best storm trooper impersonation attempt...

While he was assessing his rib cage damage(tree-1 ed-0,) I hooked my helmet on the handlebars of his bike to go reattach the number plate hanging from the 300. Of course it fell right over, punching a hole through the foam of my Shoei and smashing the new goggles.:rofl

Anyone try that Bell Moto 9?

oh dang that sucks! Ill keep that in mind because I often push my helmet on to the end of my bars. The hand guard makes for a snug fit . Never really considered the bike falling over on the helmet.

Im riding with a $67 scorpion vx34 from ebay that I actually like alot.

I don't hang my helmet on the bar because sometimes the hand guard is real muddy and it ends up in your helmet liner. In fact, there is kind of no good place to hang a helmet on a dirt bike. I just place it somewhere, shell side down, on a rock or tree or the ground.
