Been trying to replace the POS stock shock on a ‘12 Ninja650... the R1 substitute wouldn’t work, now I’ve got an made for ‘12-‘16 Ninja 3-way Elka shock with:cool remote preload/reservoir (length/eyes match, was on a 2011 ( Ninja that was a racer) but the damn reservoir precludes mounting it!
Think one of the suspension shops could fit a longer hose so I can tuck it up under the subframe where it belongs? It needs a lighter spring and revalving anyway so it’s going somewhere.
