Kiss My Arse
Hey there
Here's Mowgli. He needs a home. A home that can give him lots of attention and with someone used to being a pet parent to a bossy chatty cat who doesn't take shit from anyone
We rescued him from the Martinez shelter when he was at death's door with an untreated thyroid problem
The photo is him on his day of release, at our vet
He is about 13 years old and needs daily thyroid medications which he tolerates well We took him to UC Davis to see if he is a good candidate for radioactive iodine thyroid treatment, and although he wasn't ruled out, they need to do many more expensive tests to confirm. We are not doing these tests
This handsome dapper dude can't catch a break though. While at Davis it was discovered he has a heart murmur. 3 on a scale of 6
And he has bradycardia (very low heart rate, 120 bpm) which is HIGHLY unusual for a cat with a thyroid problem
So here he is, bless his cotton socks. Looking for a home that can give him the attention he needs. He's friendly, bossy, chatty. But he has some health issues. There is nothing to be done about the heart murmur, or the heart rate. It is what it is. He could live another 5 years, or die in 5 months. However long he has left he deserves to be in a home that can show him some adventures
Check out his video - going for a walk!!!
Please help me find this dude a home Oh, he had all of his teeth cleaned a couple of weeks ago so no issues there
