This is why when you see bad drivers, just pass them

Get that!
Took you 2 min to pass this guy? Should've left him in the dust in 3 seconds plus a wheelie.

the good ol' "park it on the left lane" douchebag. Very annoying whether you're on a motorcycle or in a car.

Gotta admit, I hate the left lane squatter as much as the next guy, but what did this rider prove? Nothing. Did he teach the guy a lesson? No. Judging by his actions, he has the same entitlement attitude as the guy squatting in the left lane.

You should have tried riding in the 80's when people threw crap at riders and opened doors. Guy flipped you off? Hell I'm doing it right now :twofinger after watching your video of you riding 50' off his bumper bitchin :afm199

You wasted way too much energy on this guy. Normal, every day commute stuff. Move on.

You're the entitled a-hole in your analogy. Not name calling, just stating the facts.

Just because you ride a motorcycle does not mean you get to pass everyone or that they should move over for you. Try commuting during rush hour on 880 or 101. I do both. It will toughen your skin quick... son.

Get at me dog..barf BARF!
Between :30 - :50 there's not much room to go around him, the black Jetta is barely pictured on the right, but it's there. An opening comes around 1:20, but by that time, I'm just thinking 'da fuck is this guys problem?

For those saying, just throttle on, yeah that's what normally happens, hence the title. 49er Faithful still good with me Loki :twofinger

The rider was like a quarter of a mile behind the truck forevarrrr. And he puts on his high beams? That's not cool. I'm not surprised he got a finger.

Come up on the car, give them a minute to find a safe spot to pull over--if they don't, then pass them on the right (I like to go over a couple of lanes if I can, and there was tons of room here to do just that) and move on. I guess I'm just a boring rider. Very rarely do I have anything camera worthy.

Not as fast as I look.
You are on a motorcycle, not driving a car. You were behaving like a car driver in my opinion. There looked to be a gap between the 1 lane and 2 lane car right at the start. Why didn't you take it? After that, either be patient, or do what you finally did. Go around the whole mess. You bike - them cars.

Try not to get in a flip-off contest. (I am guilty of doing it, too.) But, people might go nuts. I know. And everyone sees you, but not him. None of us needs the negative feedback when we ride, m'kay?

[mom mode engaged] And I should clarify that the harshness of my statement is how I feel about the situation, given that I see all riders as ambassadors for this mode of transportation. Our privileges (not rights) are being constantly scrutinized and sometimes challenged. There's no reason to waste energy on these kinds of confrontations and risk the negative publicity, not to mention risking the rider's safety and the safety of others on the road. Yep.

As soon as I saw the uncovered load I would have either backed off or moved over a lane or two and got around the guy.

Looking down the road he was not that much slower than others in the fast lane.
