This is an amazing image

Edit: Midnight Saturday. It's a photo shopped pic. BUT still really fun to look at.

I take no credit for this pic and am not involved in anyway.

I'm just awe-struck at the activity and this post is not intended to be about the picture. I don't know if it's good/safe or bad/dangerous situation. I don't know if the riders involved should be doing anything different. I just don't know what to think so I thought it might lead to an interesting BARF discussion with the direction of such discussion being wide open.

Credit do to this photographer. http://www.1904photography.com/

Don't really know what to say without a backstory... do you want us to imagine what happening or something?

Looks like a whole bunch of danger to me. I can't tell wtf seems to be going on, but I'd bet a whole lot that it's not an official race. Lol.

Dragging knee at speed with other riders and cars to the side and front of you, and cyclists on the other side, and 4 other people besides yourself also around you trying to fit through gaps and drag knee, seems like a bad idea.

Yes. Basically those are all shots from the same corner, then cut and pasted and montaged in a photo editing program.

It's a clever image, but you can see how fast some of those motorcycles are going, and know how fast the others are not, to know it's a composite.

The Photography car across the road helps too.

the kawi with the green wheels would have crashed into the GSXR in front of him about 0.1 seconds after this was taken if it was one photo.

oh, and look at the shadow from this bike. I also notice a weird green outline on several of the bikes/shodows. I don't know if that's a digital photo thing or related to the editing.

It's photo shopped...

That's why I just couldn't get my head wrapped around it.

Proof is missing green tire behind harley tire.

Wel the thing is, if it truly was a busy weekend -- and it well could have been, weather has been fantastic recently, a mounted camera taking a photo every couple of seconds (as each individual vehicle comes by), would be able to capture all of them with appropriate shadows, as the sun would not move enough to really make it noticeable.

It is a neat collage though.
