Oldest trick in the book. You turn around, chat her up, and the three guys you didn't see come flying up over the guardrail knock you off your bike as the cargo van comes around the corner. Then _you_ get to stand on the side of the road flashing passing vehicles for an entirely different reason.

... Lonely road, cute girl up there in remote location all alone, bares breasts. I guess you could chock it up to it being SF, even Berkeley maybe, but balance of probability indicates otherwise :) Are there many joggers up that way?

That's one likely scenario. Others:

  • She's a hooker
  • She's wasted
  • Cray-cray
Any way you look at it, not good. Time to call 911 I think.

All have a chance of being true, but if a hooker, isn't the location a little less then lucrative? :)

If she's wasted, how did she get to such a remote location? You'd think you'd find her on a sidewalk outside the club...

If she's disturbed, typically those types will find more utility in a place with more people, to make a scene or generate attention.

If she was suicidal or depressed, I don't think she'd be flashing... :)

Maybe abandoned by her "friends"? Literally kicked to the curb?

It's an interesting mystery though. I think no matter what the truth is, there's an interesting story in there!
