there are a finite number of L turns at Sears - going up the hill in 1, 3, 6/carousel, 8, and 9 (old config). The only place with buildings on course like that is the main track entrance, but the there is no kick wall on the inside of 11. Certainly looks like the high fence that you ride against on the way off the track out of 10 though. The numbers are legible so the image isn't flipped in any way. I'm baffled

1983. Carl Foster on 223, myself on 774. I believe this is a Superstreet class. There were a few of us that out dollar ed all the other singles guys and rode with the bigger bikes to make things exciting. My bike is a Knight framed Suzuki 500. Carls a Knight Rotax.

The next pic's are 84' after I full bodied the Suzuki. This is the singles class. My father took all our pic's. We have very few. Miss you dad.

I was at the 60th AMF reunion this past weekend, and somebody found these pictures of us back in 1983. I remember you and your brother, but I must admit I can't remember your names. It would be nice to get in touch with you again.

PS: I was digging around and found all those pictures on photobucket.com.
One of the pictures had your name: Memo by Michael Kane. If I remember correctly, your brother was much taller than you.

No, I don't think so. I found a couple of custom singles and those triples with the one dead cylinder, but none pitted next to me.

I was there with my Goldwing Trike and popup camper at the back of the pit.

I like you avatar. Wasn't it from Thunderdome?

Oh yeah, I remember you. You needed new gearing for Sears. You never gave me your name. I was over loading up my camper when you were talking to my friends. You gave them you name, but I never got it.

I think you came in 2nd or 3rd - right?

By the way you didn't answer my question about your avatar!

PS: I must have had a senior moment in not remembering you.

Scraps - Long ride from not-currently-Aridzona, you had a couple of friendly doggies guarding your tent too. I was walking the pits and they gave me a nice greeting as I passed.

Guess I will bring this thread back from the dead !

Cruising around MSR Houston. Just got a job offer, so I will be moving back to the bay area this summer. Planning on racing in AFM and WERA
