196 at the rear wheel with all the emissions bullshit on it.

For context, the Panigale V4S is claiming 214bhp at the crank and gets 189 at the rear wheel on that same dyno.

Not to mention the Panigale V4S has 100cc extra displacement...

That's seriously impressive.

Whatever that means
I still think I would like to ride the Ducati more. I might be slower on it but I would feel really cool while still going real fast, just not as fast.

You're right, way more Starbucks credit. We all know the only BMW's that hang out at Starbucks are the GS crowd.

If someone can honestly ride both of these bikes to such potential that they can really feel a difference between them, all the respect in the world to ya

Not as fast as I look.

The BMW has been the winner at IOMTT the last couple of years. There is more going on than maximum power with that bike.

How are they doing in WSBK?:laughing
Better than Honda. That is a h.p. show.
why Danny Eslick is not winning races than?
Too many drugs? He doesn't have a ride? Dunno.

You guys seem to have missed the obvious point. You can't win at IOM with a poor handling bike. McGuinness won on a CBR more than once, which did not have the most horsepower, but handled well.

Huh what races??
I just saw 135. They finally topped 135 avg mph per lap in senior TT

They covered #1 and 2, winner was in 2nd entire race and took the win in the last sector. Both bikes were zx10. Same bikes the teams used last year as well

Definitely impressive, but it's the claimed (lack of) weight that has me drooling. My 2010 S1000rr puts out 193 to the rear wheel with a full exhaust, PowerCommander and AutoTune, and if I remember correctly, it weighs 440lbs fully fueled. 24lbs(?) less would be amazing and easily felt.

Still have that full frame sitting in the basement for you. Free to your good home.

What's the implications for the XR model? The potential i-four smoothness really gets me hard. F-ing Ducati on-off throttle response is annoying and a liability. Looking at used XRs is an exercise in frustration. Will BMW bake some of this awesomeness into the cake for commuters?
