This could be a thread to share tips about the Thanksgiving, Cyber Monday and future Christmas calendar days and NYE of 2018/2019

Here are some example questions , e.g. the first one is important to me:

• What is the *worst* crowded time to (not) go to Costco around Thanksgiving?
• did all the stores run out of turkeys yet?
• Where and when can one still buy a pie for a potluck?

Costco will still have pies and turkeys. Worst time to go to Costco is usually anytime during business hours.

Worst time to go to Costco is when you don't have a list.
Best time to go to Costco is 30 minutes after opening with list in hand.

I don't know yet.. actually probably yes.

.. but I'm not going to be able to try the pies from Costco. I was thinking of trying their 'buy alcohol ' exception for non-members as mentioned again in the other thread..
