Thanks for the heads up on the West Side areas Luke, recognize some but will check out the stuff in the creeks up from Franciscan junction.

When I read your post this am I was like what is he talking about rain, that isn't coming until Friday. Open my garage door and was like wow...it's wet!! Little gift from the Gods I guess :)

When in doubt gas it!
Might be a bit of mid day weather break on Sat, anybody intrested in a Carnagie low ride for a couple of hours? Practice on those vertical walls.

The rain may shut the place down but I'll keep and eye to the skies and bring the truck home. Would love to continue refining my splatter clutch timing....

Judging from weather reports looks like noon might be the best time. I dont recall them ever closing the valley floor from rain but maybe I'm wrong, obviously unless the creek runs over.

Definitely a fun day, hit a couple of pivotal learning points. Making sure the bars are in your hips had a huge effect on how much lift I got. Thinking about a kicker like I was riding BMX helped a bunch too, started to make the splatter more of a go to than a last resort.

Two weeks.......until the first round of the season; me and Sid are moving up to ADV and Copper is usually a slop fest. Traction will be low and the obstacles high, who knows what will happen....You guys camping, hoteling or just day tripping?

I'm down to ride next weekend if weather and family permit.

I'm definitely riding next weekend, either Carnagie or our property. I was thinking we should set up sections next weekend to get used to ribbons and gates again. We are going to be camping, probably head up Fri night and stay through Sundays event. Francesca may ride Saturdays gate trial I'll putt around with her but not ride.

I’ll probably day trip the event since it’s close and ground won’t be so good to camp on :)

Fingers crossed that we get a break in the rain to ride next weekend!

Rain stopped 5 minutes before I rolled in, turned out to be a beautiful few hours to ride. Wish I woulda' got some pics of that rock pile/road shoring we were playing on, that was some serious fun (and kinda' scary too):afm199

Awesome day for sure, especially for only having access to basically the parking lot. Hopefully get lucky with the weather this weekend.

Not sure of my weekend schedule yet, will likely depend on what day my daughter has to do volunteer work. Man it’s going to be a wet one at Copper!

Doubt I can make it out Saturday, will have to see. Peanut has a girlscout event and I may be involved. Maybe we get lucky with rain this weekend but clearing into next?
