Man I wish they'd do a Saturday event.

In any event, I have 30 churchill's showing up tomorrow, and some humidor supplies..... And so the stash building begins. :toothless

OK....looking for a new smoke...

I have been only smoking 3 types of cigars and all are robusto's as they last about an hour and that is the perfect timing for me.
1. Cabiguan #24
2. Rocky Patel Conneticut
3. Ashton Herigate

Suggestions?

I would have to say my absolutely favorite cigar, is the Acid Atom Maduro. You never ever see them on sale online in a 5 pack, or sampler. Bastids.....

I'd have to say my top 5 are:

Acid Atom Maduro
Acid Kuba Maduro
Acid Kuba Kuba
Tatiana Mocha Eden
Tabuk Especial Negra

Gee, can you tell I like infused maduro wrappers... :toothless

Don't get me wrong. I have many other non-infused favs too. But the ones I listed are my top 5.

I love me some Gurkha, RP, CAO's too. In fact, I think I've only met 2 cigars that I didn't like.

The funny thing is the more you smoke the more your palate gets much more particular and you find there's less you like. There are smokes that I loved four years ago that would be unsmokeable to me now. But as this happens, you get a deeper appreciation for the smokes you do like. It's actually an enjoyable journey.

Oh I'm sure. I've caught myself twice now, by trying a particular type of cigar 2 or 3 times before I write it off.

I've noticed, my mood greatly affects what I'm ok with smoking at that time.

Revisted my box of 2008 Trinidad Reyes this morning on my way to work and wow, these things have really taken a turn for the better. :thumbup

Just smoked one yesterday that was from an 09 batch. The caramel really popped out I noticed from resting.

Anyone know where I can get a few opus x at? My buddy has given me literally close to $1k in cigars in the last couple years but he's only had 1 opus x and said it's hands down his favorite so I wanna get him like a 5 for his bday in a few weeks

You can get em online or at local brick and mortar shops. A box of 10 can run a few hundred bucks depending on the stick.

Casa Belicoso in Walnut Creek sometimes has them, as well as Mission Pipe in Pleasanton. I think they are usually released around father's day and the New Year so there might not be a lot left on the shelves right now. Worth making a few calls before you drive though.
