Thank you to BARF's collective wisdom regarding an car accident that I was in about a month ago. I have settled property damage claim with the other party's insurance company. Medical is still open, though am hoping that won't be an issue.

Also wanted to thank BARF user "jdhu" aka Jimy for going over waiver language that I had to sign to get compensated for property damage. He was very helpful and quite responsive!. Didn't know he is a lawyer, but now that I know will definitely contact him again in future (though I am hoping I won't have to :teeth )

JDHU has matured into an excellent young man and BARFER. He doesn't talk to Supreme Court Justices anymore, though.

Thanks for the shoutout so to speak, and you are more than welcome. FWIW, I did perhaps 20 minutes of work reviewing the waiver and suggesting changes, so it definitely was not a big deal. I'm happy to help. Indio made donations to BARF on his and on my behalf, so thanks for doing that.

Meant to add...not to get overly philosophical, but with the recent angst concerning politics, our divisions as a country (real or imagined), the virus, stock market, bitcoin (lol), I think it's important to keep in mind that life goes on, people are generally good despite sensationalist stuff that gets around, etc. So, when I can, I "pay it forward" (so to speak). BARF has been of major benefit to me (buying gear and parts, recent rescue by Cincinnatus when I was stranded, etc.).

Agreed, a good resource to have. He helped me contest a speeding ticket and some legal assistance with some renters.
