Tech q: brake banjos at ABS controller?

I know the general rule is that any bolt with liquid behind it should be safety-wired or otherwise secured. Does this apply to the brake banjo bolts at the ABS controller as well? They are a bit out of harm's way (and I'm not really looking forward to bleeding the ABS circuit, I admit).

My guess is you'd pass tech with safety wire / rtv on the calipers and MC and the relevant visible junction blocks.

They're not gonna pull your tank to look at the ABS module, and you're unlikely to service it beyond ripping it out so it is unlikely to leak due to frequent service like the caliper banjos would/could.

I am 100% OK with securing (safety wiring) any exposed banjos (calipers, master cylinder, etc), it just seemed like a bit of overkill to do the same to at the ABS controller end. Figured I'd ask for some advice!

For reference, most bolts with liquid behind them (brake banjos, coolant drain, cam chain tensioner for some reason, rad drain if you have it) only need a dollop of RTV on the side of the bolt head (gluing it to whatever it's bolted into) to 'secure' them to Tech's satisfaction. The oil drain plug is the only one that requires full safety wire.

I also don't think Tech will inspect the ABS unit, but if you have your seat off already just smear a blob of RTV onto the bolt heads to secure them anyway. Won't hurt.
