Hard to get a picture of the whole tattoo when its on your arm. This is actually a couple of years old. So Im ready for the next one. The body of the owl has faded more. This was a taken when it was pretty fresh.

Any recommendations for tattoo artist in the south bay? I'm looking for my 1st tat for my best friend that passed away some years ago. I'm not 100% sure on the design yet but I know I want these two things + his name/dates on my chest:


The writing is farsi and its roughly translated to "remember to fly" which is from a contemporary persian poet from the 20th century. After reading some of the poetry I can understand why his parents picked this line.
