Tail gating banned at super bowl

One thing has nothing to do with the other.

People getting dropped off is unnecessary traffic that can be avoided. People taking two spots is unnecessary space use.

It's the Super Bowl for god sakes. It's not like the "true" fans of either team will be there. It's not a home game for either team. You going to drive across country in your Winnebago just so you can get your drink on and eat ribs before the game? Get real

How about the not being able to enter the stadium lot on foot unless you take one of their approved transportation options?

Detroit, Dallas, Phoenix. Closest I got was the year they lost to the Packers in Dallas. My folks live there and sent me pics of all the happenings during Super Bowl week.

Unfortunately, I can't afford those prices. Fanatic or not.

Drink like crazy in their cars/busses/RV's while sitting in the parking lot.

BUT since the Superbowl isnt really attended by fans of either team, the main objective here is to get people in and to the cash registers.

This. It's the new stadium and they have visions of dollars dancing in their heads. They are keeping the riff-raff out. Read: those selling bootleg merch.
Plus, it's in new jersey. Why would you want to walk anyways? You'll get mugged.

Go to a college football game in the south. Those people know how to tailgate.:cool Raider fans... not even close IMO.

I haven't been to a Raider game in a few years, and haven't tailgated there since the Chuckie/Gannon days. Some good times for sure, but far from the best tailgating scene IMO.

I was at the Outback eating big ass pork loin and didn't pay attention to the article. Just saw name "Kelly" and assume that that's an asshole commissioner from NY.
Oh well, shows how much attention I pay to "football" where they not using their feet and there is no ball. :laughing

Yeah, I guess. The club isn't that bad IMO, and on the whole, I think Candlestick is just as bad, if not worse lately. Whichever side of the bay you're on, it's mostly a bunch of overdrunk wannabe thugs trying to act hard. The college scene is so much better, even here in the bay area. Nothing in the NFL beats rushing the field after a big win.

yeah the club seats aren't all that anyway, I did see Quan in the east side club at the sqeelers game.

you wanna get 3rd deck north side seats and dress is labs coats and hold up a sign that says EVENT HORIZON at a game.
