I was involved in a hit and run accident where a driver, who was 3x's the legal limit, struck me on my motorcycle at a light, directly from behind at approximately 45mph. Thankfully I have video evidence from a witness's cell phone of the entire thing, multiple wittiness' have made reports and believe the act was intentional, due to the vehicle accelerating into me and then through a red light of a busy intersection with crossing traffic, before immediately fleeing the scene... I originally had no reason to believe of such intentions, since there wasn't any previous altercations and I do not know the person. But after viewing video evidence, it clearly shows that it is more than likely the case...
Thankfully the car was located, along with the driver and passenger of the car. The driver has been identified and taken into custody. Possibly the passenger as well, since they were both not being cooperative at the time.
I am posting this in hopes to find some references to a good attorney in the Bay Area to represent me in my case, since this is without a doubt going to court.
Without posting more information than I should at this time, I will let you all know that I AM injured. But I am happy and fortunate to be alive. I will post pictures later, when I feel is appropriate, considering the circumstances.
