I'm sure all the newbies post the same thing "I'm new! I like motorcycles! Be my friend!" :ride
Predictably, that's pretty much what I have to say, too. I took my rider safety course about a month ago and am still in the market for a bike. My boyfriend has a Honda Nighthawk 450 and I have ridden it twice by myself. The second time I managed to drop it in a parking lot pulling into a space. I haven't ridden it alone since then.
I have a ton of miles on the back of the bike, and am getting up the nerve to ride again. I think that I have determined that his bike is just too tall for me. I have found that the far reach to the ground really makes me feel unstable.
Therefore I'm pretty much limiting my search to Viragos, Boulevards, and Rebels. I thought I was going to want a bit bigger bike than a 250 cuz we commute from Concord out to Berkeley, but dropping his bike has me fazed a little bit.
Anyway, I wanted to say "Hello" and check in with you folks.
