Superstock - aftermarket subframe legal?

Unfortunately I have to replace my subframe. Wondering if an aftermarket one (motoholders etc) is legal in supersport. Rules look like it’s not, but curious if someone knows for sure. Thanks.

thread title and first post don't match. MA SS - definitely legal. AFM SSTK - I dont think its legal, per the "if it doesn't say u can, you cant" rule.

I'm pretty sure they were legal in 600 super stock before they killed that class. I remember asking Dorsey and Worthington at one point. Paul said they were as well.

nah. 2.7.10.1 (h) - "Rear sub frame must remain as homologated but additional seat brackets may be added." they were legal in STK1000 though.

yes, I still have the old rulebooks and bothered to check.

We once had a rider try to protest another rider for unsafe riding and the protesting rider wasn't even in the class...he was watching the race. Technically, the rulebook didn't contemplate this possibility...so we shitcanned his plan, but it was quite confounding and comical.

I think your clarification is right: stock1000. I remember the discussion and it included calipers too, which I know the 600 stk class didn't allow. Good find Rob.
