sunday 10th ride

wassup guys,
Hope everyone at trackday had fun and is sore and tired as hell...bastards..hehe
Just wanted to post about the 5150 group ride today. We were held up a bit waiting for people to come, so instead of rolling out at 1pm as we planned, we didnt leave untill 1:30. Headed off over the SM bridge(92) and headed up toward alices. We had over 40 bikes with us and about 50 people ( passengers ). Instead of going toward alices we instead headed up 280 north and veered off toward highway 1. rolled by pacifica, and up toward some beach. Then everyone went back to pacifica for lunch. I dont remember if anyone from this forum was with us, or SBN, but if you were, id like to thank all of you for being such good sports about the lateness and lagging. We hope you will come back again next time we have another group ride. Im sorry i didnt get a chance to say hello to everyone as we were sort of rushed and i was riding behind the pack the whole time trying to keep everyone together. Hope so see everyone on the next group ride.

Damn, 40 bikes eh!!! I wasn't there but I was at REDWOOD RD ON SATURDAY all alone with no one to ride with........ J/K

Redwood was actually nice, the shady spots were a bit damp ofcourse as was the section by oakland. I was there from about 9:00 to 12:30, no one was on the road til about 11:00 am, before that it was just me, a yellow ducati and some dual sport. Did Redwood about 9 times total and went home, relizing that I still suck and still haven't regained my confidence in leaning.

Ken, whenever you are down to do Redwood, let me know........this also goes for Magyarbetyar and Ninja Ryder, you Castro Valley locals!!!!!!

I was at Redwood Rd on saturday too...but it was after 1pm. I didnt get up untill noontime..hehe

I was there from about 9:00 to 12:30, no one was on the road til about 11:00 am, before that it was just me, a yellow ducati and some dual sport.

I went up to the wall on both Saturday and Sunday, Saturday went riding with a small group, 6 bikes or so...but a dual sport was in there with us and that guy was fast! I am slow as all hell, the guy on the dual sport was RIGHT behind me the whole way, I had to pull over and let him pass, he was makin' me nervous back there...I thought it was funny, me on my big bad R1 getting smoked by a dual sport!
