Summer riding gear

I have a pair Dainese Drake Air riding pants , been looking for something cooler . Don't want to spend 300 + on black synthetic pants , that are still going to be hot . I have a mesh jacket that works , but the pants aren't mesh and friggin hot. Got a pair or tour master venture air yesterday ( to baggy returned them )

I have a pair of Olympia mesh pants, that feel like riding naked.
Went down in them on 880 @60mph, and the mesh held up well.
They are cheaper than the D pants.

The bilt explorer air pants are mesh and great. Had the same pair since 2012 and they are holding up

I use a full Olympia phantom suit in grey and hi vis. Cordura in high abrasion areas and mesh in less (like chest panels, under arm pits and inner thigh) which breathes pretty well.

Let’s face it; hot is hot and hotter when splitting between thousands of cars with their ac cranked.

Outer temp may read one thing but ambient temps from asphalt and cars sitting in traffic is a whole. ‘nutha. Level.

I keep my faceshield closed just to help with the ambient road heat and sun beating down on me purdy face. Seems counterintuitive to leaving it open for venting but, try it. Makes a huge difference for me.

I really like my Oly pants (Airglide 4). I was specifically looking for white or gray colors, anything but black, as here in the valley I don't need to be a heat sink. Settled on Olympia due to the material (Cordura). Good to know they'll do their job if I ever need them to.

revit ignition 2 jacket + pants

take out all the liners and you're left with leather/armor on the impact points and mesh everywhere else.

tons of airflow..

I guess olympia is popular All out off stock at revzilla , until it gets cold and I won't need them I may wait until next year and see if the new model bikes have a have a/c option I could go for that !
