Studio Ghibli fest 2019 (i should have posted this a month ago!)

I know there's some anime fans, as well as just animation fans in the sink. But i regret not posting this sooner. All summer, starting this past weekend, they'll be playing a number of Studio Ghibli movies.

I just finished watching the dubbed version of Howls Moving Castle. (Final showing at this theatre. Sorry.) Just great to see it as it was meant to be shown. I've seen it before, but it felt very fresh and new. I think the modern projector and audio tech adds a good deal to the vibrancy and feel of the film.

Yeah... Way too depressing for me. I watch animes to escape reality, not to be reminded how shitty real life can be.

Also, no bringing in food or drink, and no eating for the week before you watch it, so you can really feel it in your bones.
