I'm going to ride up at Stonyford from the 21st to the 25th if anyone wants to come and ride those, or one of, these days.

I'm driving a blue F-250 diesel with a cap on the bed, and riding a KTM 350 XCF-W (white). As for camping, I was going to see what's available Friday night.

There will be lots of people up there for the next 2 weeks. Be careful when your within 10 miles of Davis Flatts. Lots of :squid:squid around there is time of year. The only time I've had a head on Crash was coming back for turkey day lunch on Letts Ridge. F'd up my trip with a broken water pump and carbon skid plate from the donkey's foot peg. I got lucky, the other guy had a taco'd front wheel and possibly broken bones.

This weekend should also have a Family Enduro going on. If you have never ridden one. This is a good one.

I thought about riding that, but I'm not too familiar with the timing aspects. Easy to pick up?

Thanks for the heads up on the sea life, I was hoping it would be quiet, but I guess not...

Well I'm out. Propane guy showed up and stuck me with a $430 bill. Gonna lay low this weekend, maybe a little ds ride out towards Bowman, or just break out the chainsaw and do some chores.

You don't have to play the time game to have fun. The times between checks will be long, to help the kids and beginner riders:thumbup. They usually put on a nice 60 mile ride (2 30 mile loops). If you got your AMA & Dist.36 cards sign up.

Ran the family enduro yesterday and condition were absolutely perfect, with that being said its drying up quickly but with rain in the forecast conditions should perfect again. Coming into the valley you could see the campsites were packed. Lots of folks spend the turkey day week up there so expect some traffic and crowds. Other than that you should enjoy the hell out of it, I think Stony ford IS my favorite riding place.

Got up there Friday night, had an awesome day riding Saturday. Got in around 60 miles. Went back to camp, and then was riding out to see someone I thought I knew and fell over (not wearing my boots) and sprained my ankle:

Ouch! Heal up man that looks painful! Reminds me of how my elbow looked back in March and April!
