Where are they going to keep you? That way tons of barfers can show up and harass you whilst you recover :D

Got tilt?
Don't worry Tiffie everything will be all right. I just had minor surgery too and can totally relate to being nervous. Before I went in my pulse rate was something like 60 or so, not bad according to the nurse. When they brought me into the OR, my pulse jumped up to like 150 or so. All was good once the drugs started flowin, and all i remember is waking up in my room.

Since then, the vicoden's have been treating me well :thumbup

Good luck tommorow:mstingray

knee surgery (for thorn tendon, is it?) is a straight forward procedure that many of my friends have been through. The recovery consists of not moving and putting pressure on it for a week or two, and then you are back up and running (may be not running :) ) in no time. The procedure itself is nothing to worry about, so try and don't. Afterwards, you will be glad you did it.

good luck, and stay positive! ;)

best of luck on the knee-are they gonna remove
anything? ACL reconstruction? miniscus tear?
gravel in the knee?
Again, good luck and I hope the
procedure is smooth and you
get alot of narcotics to help ease the post surgery pain.:teeth

tiffie THINK POSITIVE ++++++++++++ not -------------- but ++++++++++ then you will wake up and we wont have to sell your bike. altho we do need some money but thats what the dvd is for! so relax girl you wil be A O K. if anything bad happens ill stomp on the doctors face with my heels on. that should do some sufficient damage :thumbup

Tell the nurse before the surgery that you are very nervous. S/he may give you some colorful happy pills before they put you under:thumbup

Hey Tiff, best wishes and it will be fine I know it. I went through somewhat the same thing with my crash but actually worse because of the broken bones and all the added hareware. They will give you the good stuff and you will not even know what is going on. I was so scared too when they were about to put me under, the drugs dont give you any choice but to sleep anyways!

Best wishes and please sign up for Team Gimpy when you get out!

Tiff,

I thought you said it was major surgery. You have absolutely nothing to worry about. Meniscus surgery is probably the easiest thing you can have done. If you do the rehab, you can be back to full strength in two weeks.

Hang in there, girl.
