I like my 2nd gen FZ1...now that the fueling, ergos, and suspension are sorted. Sometimes that sounds stupid when I say it to myself, but then I figure just about every bike off the lot needs fueling, ergos and suspension sorted.

Anyway, I like it so much that after I put it up for sale I realized I wasn't ready to part with it yet. Besides, gotta love the valve check intervals. Super low maintenance.

My street triple needed all of those things adjusted to my liking. Still a bad ass bike.

Kawasaki z750s. Mine has 38,000 miles and runs great. Great commuter, w/fairing. Pretty light, much easier to flick aroung than my old z1000. 100HP at the rear wheel. Bought it for $3500 w/8,000 miles. Rare (only sold here for 2 years) but there's 3 on Craigslist right now, 2 w/low miles.

I really appreciate you looking them up!! That's very kind of you :)

Though it seems as if I am between the Fz1 and the Sv650. I never thought it would be the case but the SV has won its place amongst my top considerations. And to be honest, it's very fitting. I would be happy to look back and have owned one like so many others before me. I think between the two it would be the better bike on which to become a better rider. And I one has caught my eye ;)

The Fz1 has been highly regarded and is as smart a choice as any. It has a well proven engine and is well sorted from the factory. It's also perhaps a better highway cruiser..

I'll have to see where the dice lands. But I think I'm getting close to an answer :ride
