And I saw it happen. Fuuuuuck. I'm southbound cagin' it in the HOV lane. Check the rear view just in time to see a dark gray Prius moving from 2 to 1. Ok. Then I see what looks like a jacket or blanket flapping and rising from the back,of the car. I was about 150 to 200 yards ahead mind you, so it wasn't clear what I was seeing. Then the Prius moves towards the inside shoulder and straightens out. As it does I see the rider; black, red & white leathers I think, is flipping through the air after bouncing off the car. His bike slaps the ground, starts spinning and I see parts separating spinning away from the bike. Somehow the rider, after doing what looked to me like an imitation of a flapping flag that morphed into a body summer salting through the air, managed to land on his freaking feet. Insane. By this time I'm even further ahead, slowed and began to move to the shoulder. At this point I see the Prius pull over and park. Thee other drivers pulled in behind the rider and stop to protect him. I'm guessing I was about 500 yards ahead by now. I stopped to see people getting out to help the rider, but as mentioned... He was standing! I didn't see any detail, like if signals were or weren't used, the riders speed delta, so I don't know for certain what happened. But, it looked like the Prius took him out. Feel bad for not going back. It's bugging me big time tonight. Hope he's ok. :|

I went past a couple of minutes later. Rider was walking around, seemingly unhurt. 3 cars pulled to the roadside. They seemed to be swapping insurance info etc.

Bike looked a mess.

Good to hear :applause. Hopefully he doesn't have any major injuries and wasn't just in a state of excess adrenaline/shock
