Nice you guys! Wish I had a legal mini to ride with ya. I like how manimal is knee draggin around a corner with his shiny bike and the road looks all chunky with gravel. Manimal..... you're an ANIMAL!!! NO FEAR!

Great pix Eddie! :thumbup

Oh! and I'm not one to do squidly stuff, especially when my bike is dressed with "clean" plastics. So believe me, I had some help.......Eddie has a good way of minipulating people (sly) :toothless After all, he is the one that got me into Mini Racing :teeth

fyi..... this road was closed off to open traffic, which left it open for terrorizing and/or squidly behavior :p

:laughing

Btw, thanks Eddie for a day of fun and good food :) We need to do this again soon....and with more peeps

That Yerbi has some serious power. Look at it tearing up the asphalt in its wake. Manimal, you my friend are a squid. You should be on that show Superbikers.

LMAO - I was playing devils advocate. YOU CAN DOOO EEEET!

After 50 miles of "ez" cruising, my bike died in Brentwood. I was like aawww fack - gawd I hope that wasn't a seizure. It died in the worse place too... no shoulder. Flipped the bike to Reserve and with no room to actually kick start it I pushed the kicker down with my arm... fired right up. whooh that was close

The 72cc, 24mm carb sure makes the bike thirsty. So by the time we got to the squid err test spot I'm was probably running on fumes.

I'll bust the video out of manimal once I figure this google thing out. The last time I uploaded my mpeg4 to google, it wasn't playble. I probably have to convert it though the google vid site says it can play mpeg4. Sony must have some kind of "lock" on the licence or something with their version of MP4 :mad

Yeah, your bogging had me worried for a moment. At first I thought it was a newbie pet-co*k move or that you were running out a fuel. Turns out is was "choke" related :p.....sighs of relief

Yeah, that 72cc kit sure did wake up that SM Derbi :thumbup compared to stock (top speed of 50mph :cry) I am so looking forward to eventually adding the kit to the Yerbi :teeth

you guys have to come up and bomb around SF with me.

Brad,

Say we join you on a City ride, which sounds like fun :teeth where would we possibly meet that would provide us to safely unload our transported bikes and that offers "free" parking?

ps, sorry for what may be a dumb question :toothless but, when I think of the City, all I can think of is steep elevation changes, One Way Only streets, payed parking only, and sh*ty arse drivers .....which is partly why I avoid going to the City all together *cries laughing*

At my house. yes there is some steep spots for sure. Not sure how a 2 stroke would fare but my 108 4 stroke does just fine. there are only a few good spots for turns other then that city cruzin is all about getting looks and seeing the sights.

I'm thinking Ocean Beach. Last I remember it's no-fee public parking and is flat.

As for the route, I'm thinking Presidio area. Don't know where else. Golden Gate Park and Lake Merced?

Let's plan something in Aug (after Race 6). I'm all for cruizin' :).........ps we'll leave the squidly stuff to you since your well experienced at it :p we'll just be your entourage :laughing

Btw, how far are you from the typical cruizin' spots (Warf and what not)?

Keep in mind, us 2-smokers need to avoid steep grades as much as possibly (burning up the clutch and being able to stay within the p-band for power :toothless)

i live south of mission so pretty much the other side of the city from all the cool spots, but im down to start where ever. After aug works for me too as i should have my 137cc motor installed. So i guess all my fun routes through twin peaks wouldnt really work for you 2 strokers. Will have to come up with some sort of flat route.
