    • Inspecting the bike: if you are not experienced yourself, have a mechanic or an experienced friend check the bike before making a purchase. Crashed bikes:This is even more important if you are buying a bike that is being sold at a cheaper price with damages that the buyer is required to fix. In these cases, doing a frame check that will show any frame/fork/geometry damages is HIGHLY recommended. Do NOT simply rely on the information that the seller is providing, even he/she may not be aware of all the problems. Have the crashed bike checked and know what you are getting into.
    • Clean title, Salvage title A clean title doesn't mean the bike is free of serious issues. A Salvaged title doesn't mean the bike may have any problems. Every case is different. Some bikes are seriously damaged in a crash, but an insurance claim is never made on them, so they still have a clean title. Some bikes have had mostly cosmetic damages in a crash, but the insurance company decided to pay off the bike and salvage the title rather than spending the money to fix it. Know what you are getting into and don't make any assumptions based on what the seller is telling you.
    • Registration: Know about the current registration status of the bike. Check with DMV if you have any questions about any possible back fees and other title/registration questions (out of state title, no title with bill of sales only, etc.) before purchasing the bike.

I am selling my SV Race Bike.

PRICED REDUCED 4300.00

Title in hand and the bike is in great condition. It is a racebike and has never ever ever been crashed or even fallen over. I am the one and only owner this bike has ever had. It is not a salvage bike, and again has never been crashed, which is something very very few race bikes can claim. What paint exists (the tank) does not have 1 scratch on it.

The bike just sits in my garage and I feel bad not racing it as I only get one or two races a year. Once my wife finishes grad school I will get another AFM race bike but for now things are tight and AFM racing is just not in the budget. I want to see this bike ridden not sitting. Title of thread should also say OBO so make me an offer.

Catalyst composite body work.
Penske twin clicker
2002 GSXR 750 forks.
520 conversion with only one race weekend on it (15/46 sprockets).
Everything has been drilled and safety wired.
The entire wiring harness is still entact.
Copper tank, grey bodywork. I never got around to painting the bike.

Total the bike has done 6 races (two FIV, two 650 Twins and two clubmn races) between last year and this year.

Tires are Mich Pilot race soft rear and a slick front, I don't know the compound off hand. They have one FIV and one 650 twins race on them and are, in my opinion, still good for another weekend or a few trackdays.

Bike WILL NOT BE PARTED OUT SO DON'T EVEN ASK.

That is part of the reason. I am really enjoying SM:thumbup. But I really enjoy riding the big bikes as well. Like I said, I plan on racing with the AFM again in a couple of years (after wife has finished grad school). I just don't want the bike to sit till then.

Anyone interested, make an offer. I really really want to see this bike out on the track again.

It can race in 650 twins, Formula 4, 600 superbike (I think), Formula 40 for the old guys, and I think open twins. It is not a production legal SV, because of the forks, so one cannot race it in 650 production. If that is what you are curious about, all one would have to do is get their hands on a stock SV front end.

Yes it can, the only restriction for the Production class that would limit the use of this particular SV is the GSXR forks. Otherwise the bike is production legal.

I will knock more money off the asking price just make me an offer. The price posted is not firm. Its in great shape and is ready for a new owner. Anyone anyone.
