Well the time has come, after 12 years of ownership, its time to let my baby go. I bought the bike back in August of 07 with 16XX miles on the clock, the bike even still had the dealer plates on the bike. My wife and I plan to purchase our first home so its time to consolidate some of the toys.
Now about the bike:
-2 owners
-41,XXX miles
- Full Ti Leo Vince exhaust with Carbon can
- K&N air filter
- PC3 tune by Fastline
- Stock gearing
-Vortex V3 rear sets
- Vortex clip-on's
-Brembo RCS 19X18 Master Cylinder
- 2012 Yamaha R6 caliper swap
- Brand new Vesrah SRJL XX pads
-Speigler braided front brake line
- NGK Iridium plugs new at 32K miles
- 4100K hid kit ( will probably need a new bulb soon, its 10 years old)
-Smoked Zero Gravity double bubble windscreen
- CRG roll a click black shorty clutch lever
- New wheel powdercoat and wheel bearings @ 32k miles
- Valves checked at 18K and 32K miles, all within spec. Will be due soon
- Shogun no cut frame sliders
- Driven blue titanium oil fill plug
- 90 degree blue valve stems
- Fender eliminator kit
- Front and rear Suspension refreshed at 40K miles by Rick at RMC Moto
- Dunlop Q3+ with less than 1500 miles on them
- Engine Ice coolant
- EBC front rotors
- Indoor/Outdoor Gsxr cover
I have the stock passenger seat and passenger footpegs, but they are not currently installed as I run the solo cowl and took the pegs off for a cleaner look in the rear, besides I made my wife get her own damn bike LOL. I also have a box of misc parts that came off of my track 750 that I had years back that will go with the bike.
Cons:
-The bike fell over once while being placed into the baxley chock, nothing was broken, but the right side of the tail is scratched a little. There are other scratches on the bike from 12 years of typical wear and tear.
- Bike may be due soon for another valve check which shouldn't cost more than $500-$600 at best.
The bike has never been to the track, used primarily for weekend rides in the canyons. Its a damn good bike and I absolutely love it, but buying our first home is priority so toy consolidation it is to support that effort.
I have a set of trackside stands that I will throw in with the bike if the full asking price of $3,750 cash. 1% goes to BARF The bike can be picked up/seen in Newark. Clean title in hand and reg good for the year.
I can take more pictures upon request.
Thanks for looking.
