Last smogged in California in 2016 - I'll get it resmogged when I get a serious buyer
I'm selling this van since I have upgraded to a passenger van. This one has been great as a race van but I plan to be driving to more than just races this year and I was looking for more amenities like cruise control. I have installed a flip up dvd/cd stereo head unit with speakers (cargo vans didn't have these) and I have replaced the passenger jump seat with a full seat. The awning will be removed unless negotiated. Former FedEx fleet vehicle so I have all records and CarFax.
The only issue that it developed after I bought it is the F2 overrunning clutch in the transmission has gone out. What this means is that the engine is allowed to rev when the transmission shifts from 2nd to 3rd without that clutch to release the engine (imagine leaving your foot on the gas when you shift gears in a manual car). It only happens from 2nd to 3rd. The van runs and drives well but its no longer a perfect drive-train. I was going to replace the transmission myself but decided instead that I wanted more than this van had to offer. In my research, the best option was a remanufactured transmission and I was going to install it myself since I am a mechanic. I have tried to price the van below the current market enough to compensate for this. The link below from RockAuto is what I was going to get with a 3 year warranty.
