MX500
Pooter
Moving sale:
I have a 2003 Suzuki DR650. Aproximately 7900 miles. Well farkled with some pro cycle stuff. Engine failed 200 miles after I bought it, needs engine rebuild. Head is good, as is the rest of the engine including transmission. Bike rode and shifted great.
Good:
Clean CA title in my name in hand, currently registered.
Aftermarket seat
Trail tech vapor, properly calibrated and with working tach.
LED headlight
Bark busters
Skid plate
Rear rack
Large Acerbis tank
Manual petcock with reserve
TM-40 Carburetor, cleaned 200 miles ago and re-epoxied adaptor ring.
Quick turn throttle, an absolute necessity for any bike.
Hayabusa Muffler
Pro taper bars
Re-sprung suspension for approximately 200 lb rider.
Solid/lowered footpeg mounts
Aftermarket pegs
80% tread on Shinko 705's (came on the bike, I wouldn't buy generic).
New 520 RK Xring chain and JT sprockets installed 200 miles ago. I believe it has 15/44 gearing? Up 2 on the rear from stock. Cruised at 85MPH very comfortably.
New Pro taper 714 grips
Flushed brake fluid 200 miles ago.
Bad: somewhat faded (original) plastics, no ignition switch, switch mount was cut as well. Has a hidden kill switch, I used a disc brake lock and that worked for me. Top end was professionally disassembled, all parts are organized and intact. I'm an ex mechanic turned stationary engineer, no damaged fasteners or scratched gasket surfaces here. :thumbup
Comes with spare oil filters and ammo can luggage racks.
Neat bike, very fun. I don't want or need to sell, but I am moving. :ride
